LE TRIBUTE Countryside: the limited gin that captures the spirit of nature
We at The Gin Company love the special stuff. Not just any gins, but ones with a story, character and a vibe of their own. That's why we couldn't help but tell you about LE TRIBUTE Countryside Limited Edition - a limited-edition gin that literally smells of lavender fields, fresh sage and mystical black cardamom.
What makes it different
This isn't just another beautiful gin (though the bottle is a work of art).Countryside Edition is inspired by the countryside surrounding the distillery in Spain's Villanova y la Geltru, a place where the sea meets the field and everything smells of herbs and freedom.
Inside you'll find:
-
Black Cardamom - with its smoky, spicy and almost mystical notes;
-
Lavender, Mallow and Salvia - direct from the Spanish countryside, for an earthy, soothing and floral profile;
-
And, of course, that classic Wacholder foundation that should always be present.
Everything is distilled separately, artisanally, and blended with absolute precision. It's not industrial. It's not mass-produced. It's small batch luxury in the true sense of the word.
Only 7,000 bottles worldwide
Yes, you read that correctly. If you want to try it - or better yet, have it - there's not much time for hesitation. This edition is a one-off, with a clear message: to bring attention back to the natural, to the shared, and to taste.
How to drink it
LE TRIBUTE Countryside isn't just a gin that mixes - it's a gin that inspires. To experience it in its full glory, combine it with attention to detail, a little imagination and the right company (even if that's just you and the sunset). Here are a few ways we recommend you enjoy it:
-
Purified G&T - 50 ml LE TRIBUTE Countryside, combined with 200 ml LE TRIBUTE Tonic Water, a few drops of lemon bitters and a fresh sprig of oregano. Perfect for an afternoon in the garden when time stands still and only the taste remains.
-
Lavender Gimlet - delicate and romantic. Mix 45 ml gin with lavender cordial, garnish with a few drops of black cardamom oil. Perfect for moments of dim light and shared secrets. ( recipe for lavender cordial can be found at the end of the article )
- Our take?
LE TRIBUTE raise the bar again. This is a gin for collectors, for connoisseurs, but also for anyone who wants to sip on something truly meaningful. At The Gin House, we've already tried it. And we can only say one thing: Countryside never tasted so good.

How to make Lavender Cordial at home:
-
Mix the water and sugar in a saucepan and heat over medium heat until the sugar dissolves completely. It does not need to boil.
-
Add the lavender (and lemon zest, if using) and leave the mixture on a low heat for about 5 minutes.
-
Remove from the heat and let simmer for another 10-15 minutes.
-
Percolate through a fine strainer or cheesecloth.
-
Add the lemon juice, stir and pour into a bottle. Cool completely before use.
Storage:
Cordial can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks (and longer if you add a little vodka as a preservative - ~20 ml).
Advice from the bar:
If you want a more pronounced color, you can add a few dried hibiscus flowers or a pinch of butterfly pea (blue tea) for a lavender-purple effect, without artificial colors.
And voilà! One little homemade detail that makes your cocktail sound like spring and smell like memories. Let me know if you'd also like a recipe for rose syrup, basil or something else seasonal.
